Boats and Equipment

16’ Alumarine with swivel cushioned seats have a raised front fishing platform for casting and have 25 hp 4-stroke Yamaha engines. Boats also come with GPS equipped depth finders. Life jackets are standard equipment in all boats. All guides carry top of the line Canon digital cameras to ensure your trophy is well documented.

Tackle shop
Located in the main lodge, our tackle shop has a good selection of lures which have proven to be effective on Tazin Lake. Lure charges can be added to your personal charge account while at Tazin, and paid for the evening prior to your departure. Check out the great selection of Tazin merchandise while at the lodge.

Rental Fishing Equipment
Not sure what to bring or just don’t want to haul your own fishing gear, no problem, rent ours. We feature some of the best equipment available, Shimano Stradic spinning reels and Calcutta bait casting reels. Rods and reels are available for rental at $30 per day. All rentals include a fully stocked tackle box. Guests will be charged for any lost lures or equipment.

Equipment must be reserved 30 days in advance of your departure date.
